A couple of great guys!
We had a chance to share a table and an evening with Paul and Dean"o" to see the one and only Eric Johnson rip it out in Agoura Hills, CA. The show was great, but the real good time was sharing intelligent conversation about musical equipment... something for which these two gents are DEFINATELY aware! If you get a chance, don't hesitate to purchase something from a store that isn't run by one of the huge conglomerates. You won't be dissapointed! - Scott from SoCal |

Wharfedale and Cleartone
Hey Paul, Those Wharfedale Titan 15s proved their mettle tonight. I took 'em out on the first gig (finally) to a corporate function and they got knocked over (both on them, on stands). I figured that would be the end of the gig, and after repositioning them, I was quite impressed to hear no degredation in audio quality at all. I figured they had been 'shook' beyond repair, but they got me through the night with only very minor cosmetic damage, and with a bit of luck, many more jobs that were booked as a result of this single gig. (More than one person figured I was still playing when I had my break music on, even after the incident!!) For an inexpensive small front end, I am quite impressed. BTW - can ya ship me more of those Cleartone 10 gauge electric strings. They are the energizer bunny of guitar strings - keep going and going...and even with major third bends across the spectrum, I can't seem to break them. Oh, and the deal as always was highly attractive! You still got it brother!

How was this possible?!
The guys at Underdog are UNBELIEVABLE! Months ago, I told Kevin that I was looking for a Roland GR-33 Guitar Synth (a discontinued model), and just as I walked in the door last week he told me about the Godin Multiac Jazz and Roland GR-33 Synth he would be getting in from another customer. The synth and guitar were both still in GREAT shape and he only asked for $1300 for both the guitar and synth. I'm baffled and amazed. I haven't been a customer at Underdog for long and never expected this kind of help from them, not to mention that they kept the store open for another 2-3 hours so I could come and work something out with them, and gave my mom and I both a t-shirt! Hahaha!
I doubt you'll find a crew like these guys at any other music store in town, or in Canada for that matter! Dean has helped me out constantly with guitar maintenance and a few arpeggio lessons on the side. Paul found a great pedal case for me for only a sliver of cash. Trevor and all the other guys have been good company for while I wander around the shop. Underdog is hand's down the best shop in the city! Thanks again, dudes! |

Great Guitar, Great Service
I was in the market for a new guitar & shopped around Saskatoon .I was quite unimpressed by the selection I found until I went to Underdog Music. Once there, Paul showed me a couple of great "Sparrow" guitars and even restrung one so I could try it with lighter strings. They let me take the guitar home for a few days so I could try it with my setup. I absolutely loved it. When I returned to pay for the guitar I got a great deal and walked out with a few freebies! I'll be going to Underdog for all my music needs from now on. Thank you guys! |

Warm friendly relaxed I didn't know a music store could be like
What a blessed relief, upon entering the store you are warmly welcomed. Such a huge difference from L&M where you just know you will be treated like dirt. But at UDMC you are treated like a friend, no high pressure just friendly suggestions.
I was complaining about my small hands and that I was looking for a guitar that would be easier for my left hand to fret. Paul says "Hey have you ever tried a parlor guitar?" and hands me a Tanglewood parlor. Well I was hooked. It sounds so sweet and the slotted head stock makes it so much easier to play. No more sore achey hands. I couldn't resist.
There was a small issue with getting the right case for the small guitar and me living out of town. But Paul handled it all effortlessly.
Every one is very friendly and our time in the store was very enjoyable and memorable
Thank you Paul for you kind intuitive help and suggestions. I love my new guitar. |

Reverend Ron Asheton Sig
This Ron Asheton signature V is amazing! 3 Reverend p90s! such range, such a versatile axe! Espicially with the bass contour knob, I don't know if there's any sound that is not attainable with this guitar. And what a deal! There's a reason that the last three electric guitars I bought came from this store, such a relaxed place to check stuff out ! Paul answered all my questions and had no problem dealing on the price! I don't know why anyone would guitar shop at any other store. |

Reverend Guitars
Like I said before, if I ever needed any musical goods or services, I'd deal with Underdog because all those guys just simply F(*&( ROCK!!
I recently walked out of that great store with a Gil Parris Signature Reverend Guitar and immediately recorded my new song Blown Away... Please go to www.myspace.com/sudnubrockz and listen to the wicked sounds I am getting out of my new pride and joy. Then go get one for yourself, trust me!
Reverend makes a killer, kick ass guitar and I have to send out an especially hardcore-SWB-big-scream out to Dean and Paul for ripping out some cool riffs for me to show how extremely versatile and affordable Reverend Guitars really are!!!
The financing was a pretty slick operation too.. I felt pretty weird walking out of that store with my new baby in hand without paying a penny up front.
Thanks Again Underdog Music Co. for your wonderful products and excellent service!!

Products and Service
I've been dealing with Underdog since they opened shop and I will continue to deal with Underdog whenever I need some musical goods and/or services. I've dealt with almost every employee of Underdog and there isn't one that I don't like. Service has always been friendly and straight forward. If there was something I needed and they didn't have or couldn't have it within a few days, they'd tell me straight up to go buy elsewhere. I appreciate people that tell it to me straight and that's exactly what I get every time I deal with Underdog. The last products I've purchased from Underdog were a Killer Kramer Bass Guitar (Dean) and a Monstrous ZOOM G9.2tt guitar effects peddle(Kevin). I've also purchased a super cool drum machine that helped bring my music to another dimension(Paul).
Why don't you go to www.myspace.com/sudnubrockz right now and listen to the magical music I've composed with the deadly sonic weaponry that I picked up through Underdog Music Co..
Thank You UnderDog Music Company - You guys F*&^ ROCK!!

Tons O' Gear
I just realized the other day that ever since you opened the store, my entire amp rig and all the guitars that I play live, I have bought from you. I love the RandallRM-100 amp, it's loud enough even for me and the Reverend Volcano was my favorite guitar until I bought the Daredevil HB, which I now play almost as much as my Tokai V. So thanks for the great deals on gear and I'll see you soon to pick up something new! |

Amazing Shop
This shop is Amazing
i went to underdog with some former band mates in a local saskatoon band called psalm 91 . i expected the normal atmosphere and instead i was compleetly surprized . when we got there on sunday the shop was closed which sucked cause my friend jeff needed to get his guitar set up . I was really looking forward to seeing the shop that they raved about . As soon as paul (i beleive thats his name ) saw leanne and jeff he came and opend the door and let us in , even though the store wasn't open and it was his day off . then on top of that he gave us the most wonderfull time in the store by letting me try out a few diffrent guitars... as it turned out, i found my dream guitar as well as my dream guitar amp. I also discovered he can have custom road cases built for my guitar and bass gear which is totaly rad cause i have been looking in Edmonton and no one does it ! This Music Shop is by far the most relaxed and the best shop I have ever been in ! oh yeah, while we were there his Dog (Maggie)was there and she was chilling out with us (probaly the most well behaved dog i have ever seen) anyhow, any musician who needs a good music shop with knowledgable staff need look no further ! This shop owns'em all !
Thanks again.... You Guys are RAD!!! |

Reverend Guitars
About a year and a half ago i walked into Underdog and tried out a beautiful orange Reverend Flatroc, complete with trem bar. What an amazing guitar, by far the best investment I'ver ever made. The pick ups, the bass contour knob, I've used it live ever since the first time i picked it up. It was such a great buy, I bought a Reverend Daredevil too. Both are terrific. Also, it's the most comfortable store I've ever checked stuff out in. |

My 1st Guitar!
No doubt about it....if you're buying a guitar in Saskatoon, UnderDog rules! I'm a "beginner" that thinks he's a "novice" and knows nothing about what is or isn't a good guitar for my level. Paul was helpful, patient and professional - and CLEARLY knew his stuff! I end up with exactly what I wanted, and I love it! Warning to Paul - I expect, given my elevated level of intellect, motor skills and music sense, that I will be a far better guitar player than you within 30 to 50 years. Look out sucker! I'm gonna steal your gigs.
Thanks UnderDog! |

PAUL and Dingwall Bass
Hi Paul, hi all at Underdog Music Company and hi to all reading this few words.
- Dear reader, please excuse my possible mistakes in writing and/or grammar cause I'm a fuckin' Kraut -
Now back to the theme. After reading a Lee Sklar interview in a German music-magazine, I decided: "My next bass has to be a Dingwall." Then I started the big search and lost my illusions. There are only 4 or 5 shops in whole Europe dealing with Dingwall (and prizes for millionaires) and no one in Germany. So I started my worldwide search. After reading a lot of websites from U.S. and Canadian music-stores (no one wanted to ship outside the American Continent???) I finally approached at Underdog Music Company, Saskatoon, Canada ......... Saskatoon???? Isn't SK this beautiful part of Canada where Sheldon Dingwall build this fine instruments? At this time I knew, I reached the end of a long trail to my fine Dingwall bass as UMC shows no shipping limits on there website. So I mailed for an offer and got a quick reply from PAUL. The end was, we agreed after a short time and a few mails and on 27th of Februar 2008 I received my wonderful Dingwall Afterburner. All my Thanks belonging to PAUL and all at UMC for carrying out this deal and the patience answering all my likely stupid questions. Best regards to Saskatoon, Canada - Uli |

Great shopping experience
Thanks to Paul and Brain for your excellent service and freindly welcome.
I just received my stuff ( 2 guitars, 1 amp and 1 pedal board) and eveything was in perfect condition.
I was in Saskatoon on business and decided to go check out a few guitars without any intention of buying (isn't that the way it usually happens). After a little browsing and a million questions on my part, I decide to buy a few things and have them shipped to Montreal.
The whole experience was tremendously positive. The customer service was first class, they answered all of my questions and I never felt pressured to buy anything.
Great job guys and keep up the good work.

Speaker service
Hey Paul! Thanks again for the stand-up job on the Wharfedale Titan 15 repairs. Nice to know that these little puppies are tough enough to survive being knocked off of a tripod with the only damage being a solder joint on the crossover circuit. PS - my main guitar on the gig is a Parker with the spare being a Hagstrom, and the backing beds recorded on a Zoom HD16CD with a second machine as a backup (just in case). Next step - wireless! What can you tell me about the mic and guitar systems that Jim P. demoed in the store a while back? They were pretty impressive. Cheers brother, DJA |

guitar purchase
Was in to buy a new acoustic guitar. As a rookie player with only 5months of lessons under my belt I really didnt know what I needed so was completely at the mercy of my salesman. Thankfully I had an awesome salesman and great staff in general. I left with a Canadian made guitar (go Canada) and an AER amp. that my husband is in love with.
